What It Is
Sheep’s Sheep is a Minecraft mod that takes the humble sheep and makes them so much more. Instead of just dropping wool, sheep can now represent all sorts of resources - from cobblestone and dirt, to diamonds, emeralds, and even blaze powder.
Each sheep has its own look and feel, and collecting them becomes a whole new way to play the game.
How It Works
Find, breed, and shear resource sheep. It’s that simple.
- Basic sheep like dirt or cobblestone get you started.
- Breed them together to unlock new types.
- Progress your flock until you’re shearing rare resources like lapis, quartz, or even dragon-themed sheep.
It’s part discovery, part farming, and a lot of fun.
Extra Features
Alongside the sheep, the mod adds some custom blocks and items to make farming smoother:
- Sheep Tilt – automatically shear your sheep.
- Scourer – clean your fleeces before use.
- Weaver & Loom – craft your fleeces into fibers and materials, and finally, usable resources.
These additions give your sheep a purpose beyond wool and add new crafting paths to the game.
A Growing Flock
Sheep’s Sheep is just getting started. More sheep types, more breeding recipes, and more custom blocks are in the works.
The idea is to create a full progression system built around sheep - a quirky, fun, and useful way to expand Minecraft. It’s not meant as a full replacement for traditional resource gathering, but it can work both ways: as a fresh method to find resources on its own, or as a solid side-mod to slot into that modpack you always play.
Try It Out
